Terry was born November 25, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Vernon Cook and the late Norma Jean Duffie Cook. He graduated from Seneca High School and attended a welding trade school and became a certified welder.
In addition to his father, Vernon, survivors include his stepmother, Nancy Cook; one daughter, Angie Ackerson and husband, of Seneca; three sons, Ezra Margerum, of Joplin, Dalton Cook, of Joplin and Gabriel Cook, stationed with the military in Iraq; two brothers, Gregory Cook, of Seneca and Bryon Cook, of Seneca; a sister, Debbie Duncan, of Joplin, and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, January 3, at 11 a.m. at Kirk Cemetery, with Kenji Harrington officiating.
