Ingram's Mill - George L. Amirault, 70, of Ingram's Mill, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 16, and funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, February 17, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch.

Interment will follow at Autumn Woods Memorial Park in Olive Branch.

Born in Boston, MA on March 3, 1941, Mr. Amirault was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War.

George retired after 35 years as an engineering technician with the FAA in Memphis.

He attended Gracewood Baptist Church in Olive Branch. George served for many years with the Watson Volunteer Fire Department as a training officer and board member.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Amirault Carter; and his grandson, Cory James Carter.

George is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Ballard Amirault; 2 daughters, Sherrill Joan Amirault and Michelle Dawn Amirault, both of Ingram's Mill; his son, Michael Sean Amirault of Milan, TN; 3 grandchildren, Chrissy Carter Woodard, Chadd Michael Carter, and Emma Diana Grace Amirault; and his sister, Nancy Marie Amirault of Ayer, MA.
