Funeral service for Melvin C. Dunson (Small) 59, of Midland will be Friday, February 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Henderson officiating.
Melvin C. Dunson died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at a local hospital. Melvin C. Dunson was born December 8, 1952 to Clarence Dunson and Janie Robinson Dunson in Robinson County, Texas and was a graduate of Lee High School Midland, TX and was a Veteran of the United States Marines where he received an Honorable Discharge.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Dunson; his mother, Janie D. Dunson; his father, Clarence Dunson; five daughters, Shara, Kimberly, Marguesha, Fragrance, and Idrina; five sons, Melvin, Miguel, Merlin, Jamaal, and Jarvis; 37 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; three sisters, Gloria, Sandra, and Marsha; four brothers, Henry, Joseph, Edward, and Edwin; and a host of relatives and friends.
Internment will be in Fair View Cemetery under the direction of Jackie Warren Funeral Home.
