Diplomat. He was the son of D.G. Amilakhvari. He studied at the Lycee Henri IV in Paris. He graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies. He studied at the National School of Administration. He worked as a head of a specialized administrative unit in Algeria (1960-1961), an administrator at the Ministry of Industry (1961-1964, 1969-1970), First Secretary, then adviser to the French embassy in Algiers (worked in oil) (1964-1969), advisor to the Industry of science and for the Permanent Mission of France to the European Community in Brussels (1970-1974), head of the feasibility of the gas in the Ministry of Industry (1974-1979), a specialist at Large Director-General of industry (1979-1983). Government Commissioner in the Central office of the cooperative credit and the French co-operative bank loan (1987). A member of the Union of Officers of former combatants, the French army á titre etranger. He was awarded the Military Cross for bravery.
