Wanzell Teriza Bowers, 84, of Midland, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Wanzell was born on August 1, 1927, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to William Hunter and Mollie Lela Price. Wanzell married Felix McKenzie (Mack) Bowers on November 16, 1943, in Odessa, Texas. She was a dedicated mother and housewife.

Wanzell is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Felix McKenzie Bowers, in 1975; brothers and sisters, Ray Hunter Price, William Henry Price, Audeen M. Fehland, Christine Swan, Irene Dean, Doyle Lee Price, and Jerry W. Price.

Survivors include: her son, Johnny Mack Bowers and wife, Marie, of West Fork, AR; her daughters, Betty Tomlin and husband, Don of Midland, TX, Sharron Clayton and husband, Danny, of Magnolia, TX, and Nina McFadden and husband, Clay of Odessa, TX; brothers, Joe Ted Price of Snyder, TX, Dan Price of Portales, NM, and JB Price of Odessa, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jeana Kosina and husband, Bert of Corrigan, TX, Cary W. Bowers and wife, Laura of Jasper, TX, Pennie Richie of Livingston, TX, Nick Tomlin and wife, Melissa of Midland, TX, Melissa Carney and husband, Brian of Midland, TX, Jimmy M. Clayton and wife, Pamela of Magnolia, TX, John Baucom of Magnolia, TX, Cody McFadden and wife, Amber of Odessa, TX, and Carter McFadden of Weatherford, TX; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Family will welcome friends at Ellis Funeral Home (801 Andrews Highway, Midland, Texas 79701) on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. A funeral service is planned for Thursday, February 9, 2012, at George Price Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland, Texas (1400 Avenue J), at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Levelland City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Cary Bowers, Nick Tomlin, Jimmy Clayton, John Baucom, Cody McFadden, and Carter McFadden.
