Duncan A. McDonald age 100 of Cavalier, ND died on Friday, October 28, 2005, at the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cavalier Baptist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial in the Cavalier Cemtery. Duncan A. McDonald was born July 26, 1905, at Glasston, ND to Allan and Mary (Webb) McDonald. On November 9, 1940, he married Eleanor Parker at Hallock, MN. Eleanor passed away on April 13, 2003. He worked for area farmers and his hobbies included reading and watching baseball. Survivors include a son, Rodney (Sandi) McDonald, Cavalier, ND, granddaughters, Lisa O'Hara, Cavalier, Wendy Bjornson, St. Thomas, and Katie Werner, Cavalier, and seven great grandchildren. Duncan was also preceded in death by his parents, three brother, and two sisters. Clergy: Rev. Tom Simmons Honorary Pallbearers: Jeff O'Hara, Mike Bjornson, Shane Werner, Orval Holliday, and Duncan's Friends and Relatives.
