81, Overland Park, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, at Delmar Gardens of Overland Park. Memorial services were held Friday, Jan. 15, at Valley View United Methodist Church, Overland Park. Private inurnment was in D. W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army, 3637 Broadway, Kansas City, Mo., 64111, or to Valley View United Methodist Church, 8412 W. 95th, Overland Park, Kan. 66212.
Mr. Lebsack was born June 28, 1917, in Otis, Kan. He graduated from Kansas State University, earning a Bachelor of Business degree. He was a Naval officer and a veteran of WWII, serving in the U. S. Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant J.G. The majority of his professional career was spent as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Rexall Drugs. He retired from Rexall in 1979, after serving more than 30 years. He also worked as a P.R. sales representative for Foxmeyer for a number of years following his retirement from Rexall.
Surviving are his wife, Elaine Lebsack, of the home; one son, Bruce K. Lebsack, Wheaton, Mo.; one daughter, Suzanne L. Bastin, Lenexa; three step-sons, Donald M. Spencer, Kansas City, Mo., Gerald L. Spencer, Shawnee, and Thomas B. Spencer, Overland Park; one step-daughter, Kathryn E. McDonald, Overland Park; five grandchildren; and 19 step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
