Martin was the son of Anthony and Elizabeth (Bruman) Bader. His siblings included Leona, Josephine, Anna, Lucy, Martha, Elizabeth, Dominic, Mary, Harold and Daniel.
On March 29, 1921, Martin married Hannah Olive Micks and they had one daughter, Doris. Martin married Wilhelmina Arens in 1928 and their children were Donald, Marcella, Gordon, Phillip, Joseph, Robert and Wayne.∼Martin Bader, Beloved husband of Wilhelmine; dear father of Donald, Mrs. Marcella McDermott, Gordon, Phillip, Joseph, Robert and Wayne; nine grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters also survive.
