He was born to Peter and Mathilda Abrahamson, Holt Township, Jan. 2, 1893. He married Lydia Nelson June 9, 1920, at Lanesboro. The couple farmed in Carrolton Township until 1929 and in Amherst Township until 1950 when they moved to Lanesboro. He was active as a member of school, township and church boards. He was a lifelong member of Elstad Lutheran Church.
Survivors are: His wife; two sons, Paul C. and Irving Abrahamson, Lanesboro; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Tollefson, Preston, and two brothers, Arnold and Paul W. Abrahamson, both Lanesboro.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Elstad Lutheran Church, the Rev. I. R. Gronlid officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Johnson Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and evening and at the church Wednesday after 1 p.m.
