Robin died at West Kentucky Manor in Clinton. He was 81 years old at the time of his passing.
He was a retired General Motors worker, a World War II veteran, a member of the American Legion and a member of the Milburn Methodist Church.
He was survived by his wife, my grandmother, Olva B. Gupton Moore, on son, R. L. Moore, two step-sons, Fenton Louis Polivick and Floyd Thomas "Tom" Polivick, one step-daughter, Martha Rachel Polivick Adams, my mother, one niece, Mary Louise Morrsey, one nephew, Charles Scott Moore, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Although Robin and my grandmother were both native to Carlisle County, they met in St. Louis where they both lived and worked. They were married May 1, 1954 in Corinth, Mississippi. After retiring in the early 1960s, they moved to rural Milburn.
