Ruth E. Wescott, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday morning, March 28, 2002 at Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Wescott who she was lovingly married to for 51 years until his passing in July 1986. She is survived by her son, Rodney Wescott, Newark Valley; daughter and son-in-law, Max and Bonita Rolston, Binghamton; grandchildren, Michelle and Ryan Wescott, Endicott, George Rolston, Friendsville, Pa., Brenda Rolston, Binghamton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Barber Memorial Home, 428 Main St., Johnson City. The Reverend Edwin C. Schumacher will officiate. Burial will be at the Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barber Memorial Home.
