Lillie Mae (Jones) Hoversten was born on February 18, 1944 in Alamo, Georgia, to parents Robert Dewey Jones and Mary Elizabeth (Moran) Jones.
On October 29, 1965 Lillie Mae was married to Ellsworth Hoversten in Macon, Georgia. They made their home in Ivanhoe, Minnesota, where they raised their two daughters, Athena and Dionne. Some of Lillie Mae's enjoyments in life included spending time with her family, traveling, computer games, TV reading, doing puzzles, collecting knick-knacks and
vintage villages, raising flowers, creative writing, sewing, playing with dogs, and babysitting.

Lillie Mae is survived by her loving family: husband, Ellsworth; daughters: Athena Hoversten and Dionne (and husband Brian A.) Reese; grandchildren: Brian E. Reese, Samantha M. Reese, Duncan P. Reese, and Siyara M. Reese; and her siblings: Doris (and husband William) Page, Sylvia (and husband Curtis) Cannon, Robert Nathan (and wife Charlene) Jones, Linda (and husband Jack) Pierce, and Sharon (and husband Owen) Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dewey Jones, and her mother, Mary Elizabeth Jones.
