Maureen was a member and past president of the Armourdale Improvement Group, a member and past secretary of the Latin-American Democratic Club of KCK, the Armourdale Democratic Club and the Armourdale Businessmen Association.
Maureen belonged to St. Thomas Catholic Church in Armourdale, Kansas, and was a member and past president of its Altar Society.
