Arthur L. Atkins, 75, of Malden died Feb. 22, 1999, at home after a long illness.

He was retired from St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, with 23 years' service, was a former employee of John Q. Dickinson Co., was a Christian and an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving: wife, Jewel Hall Atkins; daughter, Cammie Wheeler of Malden; sons, Tony of Cross Lanes, Jack at home; three grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Richard Fleshman officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
