Shirley Evelyn Martin, age 71, died at Hospice Home at High Point, NC, Thursday February 16, 2012.
Miss Martin was born in Horry County, SC, the daughter of the late Theo Martin and Elsie Jordan Martin.
She has been a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in High Point, NC since 1966.
Miss Martin was predeceased by four brothers, Joe Henry Martin, Ronald Harold Martin, Daniel Mayberry Martin and Theodus Martin; two sisters, Mary Martin Johnson and Eula Vee Martin Gaddy.
Survivors include: one sister, Judy Faircloth and husband Johnny of Fayetteville, NC; three brothers, Benny Ray Martin and wife Debora of Thomasville, NC, Jamie Alton Martin and wife Sonya of Conway, SC, Samuel Mack "Sammy" Martin and wife Phyllis of Conway, SC; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Bishop Benjamin M. Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Juniper Bay Baptist Church Cemetery.
