Alvena Marlene Lemons Van Hoorebeke Loman passed away at 8:17 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, in Marshall Browning Hospital. Death was due to complications of a stroke she had May 2, 2011. In loving memory of a wife and mother, this woman struggled through so much in this life and still held her family together. She loved all of her family with everything she had in her heart. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Dave Lemons; mother, Iretta Mae Samples Lemons; three half brothers, Junior Stinson, Bobby Stinson and William Stinson; and little baby sister, Vicky.
