Deceased was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Holy Cross Society, Bonifacius Society, and the Bavarian Beneficial Association. He was a cigarmaker by trade. He leaves his widow, Annie (Dauth) Gussman, at home, two bothers, William Gussman, Reading, and Harry Gussman, Cleveland, O., and these sisters: Addie, widow of Harper Steinhauser, Emma, wife of George Koch, and Katie, wife of Charles Keller, this city.
John was a son of Jacob and Emma Gussman.
