MACON – Mildred Hartsfield Cheshire, 92, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 21st at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta with Father Hal Weidman officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 753 College Street, Macon 31201.
Mrs. Cheshire, daughter of the late William Berry Hartsfield and Pearl Williams Hartsfield, was born in Atlanta and was a devoted homemaker. She was preceded in death by her brother, William B. Hartsfield, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Monty (Carol) Cheshire of Macon; her grandchildren, Philip Montgomery Cheshire and Mary Alice Cheshire.
