Mrs Elizabeth Conkle, 75, of South Washington st, Millersburg, died at 2:30 pm Sunday at Pomerene Memorial hospital, Millersburg, following an illness of six weeks.
She was born in Holmes county, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Heil and was married to Gilbert O Conkle, who died Nov 27, 1952. Mrs Conkle was a member of the First Methodist church. Millersburg, the Holmes chapter of OES. and the American Legion auxiliary of Holmes county.
Surviving are one son, Darrell of Millersburg; one daughter, Mrs Leland Engel, Urichsville Route 1; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Reidenbach, Berlin, Mrs Ella Close, Massillon, one brother, John Flinner, Millersburg Route 4; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 pm at the Hunter funeral home. Rev. Paul C Bailey will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. There will be an OES service at the funeral home Tuesday at 3 pm. Friends may call at funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and evening.
