Charles A. Kemper, 80, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Butler, died Tuesday in Minneapolis, Minn. where he was visiting his son.

Born in Butler, Nov. 15, 1898, he was the son of Frank and Lanie Fisher Kemper.

He left Butler about 1956

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church while in Butler. He had been employed by the T.W. Phillips Gas and Oil Company for about ten years before his retirement.

Surviving are two sons, John of Fresno, Calif., Richard of Minneapolis, Minn.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, George Kemper of Butler and Joseph of Hendersonville, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A sister and a brother preceded him in death.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
