Surviving are his daughter, Pattle Suttle; a granddaughter; one step-son, Kenny Burkhammer; a brother, Elmer Ables and a sister, Alma Turner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brother, John Ables and Sam Ables and four sisters, Opal Childres, Dulcie Mason, Dolly Ables and Myrtle Ables.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
