"Carroll E. Shouse, 71, 207 W. St. Clair St., died Wednesday in the Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born Sept. 28, 1904 in Monroe City, the son of George H. and Emma Snyder Shouse. He lived most of his life in Vincennes and was a former city bus driver. He was retired from Stubnitx Spring Co.
Survivors include his wife, Christina Gilmore, whom he married Sept. 26, 1925; a son, James W., San Antonio Tex; a daughter, Mrs Jerry a Boher (Baker), Terre Haute; sister Mazo Ristow, Glendale, Calif., brothers, Gordon, Phoenix, Ariz., John, Bicknell, Charles, Sunley, Calif., Robert, Huntington Beach, Calif., William, Wittaker, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. , Saturday at the Flummerfeld Goodwin Funeral Home, the Rev. Wlliam Offutt and Mr.Len Baker officiating. burial will be in the Zion Cemetery, Knox County. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday."
