MERIDIANVILLE - James R. Abercrombie, 76, of Huntsville died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Bolan officiating.
Mr. Abercrombie was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Abercrombie; two daughters, Nancy Lovelady of Toney and Catherine Abercrombie King of Ashville; one son, Jimmy Abercrombie of Justin, Texas; one brother, Charles J. Abercrombie of Blountsville; two sisters, Wanell Van Horn of Lake Orion and Olene Bachi of Elk Rapid, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Meridianville Building Fund, 175 Monroe Road, Meridianville 35759 or the American Lung Association.
