Mrs. Mabel P. BUCKS, 80, R.R. 3, Kewanna, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday in Memorial hospital in Logansport. She was born April 23, 1895 in Miami county to Christian H. and Carrie Belle MILLER. Her first marriage was to William YODER in 1916. He died in 1921. Her second marriage was to Joseph BUCKS in 1923. He died in 1969. She was a member of the West Union United Methodist churc, the Women's organization of the church and a 50-year member of the Royal Center O.E.S. Surviving are two sons, W.T. YODER, R.R. 3, Monticello, and Larry BUCKS, Kewanna; one daughter, Elnora BAKER, R.R. 2, Kewanna; one sister, Mrs. Alice BUCKS, Lone Beach, Cal.; three step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Services will b e at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Harrison funeral home in Kewanna. The Rev. Howard WESTERN will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Kewanna. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where the O.E.S. will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m.
