Dean L. Nading, 68, of Chetopa, died at 9:10 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Chetopa Manor Nursing Home.

He was born June 18, 1943, in rural Oswego, Kansas to Walter and LaVerna (Foster) Nading. As a young boy, he attended Fairview country school and was a 1962 graduate of Labette County Community High School in Altamont.

Through the years, he worked at Wilmar Processing Plant in Oswego; Clough Construction in Oswego where he built and repaired feed mills, and most recently as a contract laborer for his brother, Bob, and others until he was forced to retire due to illness.

Survivors include: One Brother – Bob Nading Welch, OK Three Sisters – Joyce Bryant Oswego, KS June Cooley Fremont, CA Barb McCormick Columbus, KS

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery, north of Bartlett. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa.
