He was born June 18, 1943, in rural Oswego, Kansas to Walter and LaVerna (Foster) Nading. As a young boy, he attended Fairview country school and was a 1962 graduate of Labette County Community High School in Altamont.
Through the years, he worked at Wilmar Processing Plant in Oswego; Clough Construction in Oswego where he built and repaired feed mills, and most recently as a contract laborer for his brother, Bob, and others until he was forced to retire due to illness.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery, north of Bartlett. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa.
