Emma Jane Brown, 94, of Danville, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at North Logan Health Care Center in Danville.
She was born July 24, 1917 in Gabel to William "Murray" and Belva Lockwood Gaines Murphy. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Glen E. Murphy; her niece, Janice A. Richardson; her granddaughter, Laurie Oliver and her two sons, David and Thomas Brown.
Survivors include her grandchildren, David, Richard, Christopher, Linda, Rachel and Andrew Brown, Sarah Steuteville and Julie Allanach; five great-grandchildren; three nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews and her daughter-in-law, Karen Brown.
