Norman L. Cochran, age 69 of Kenton, died at The Ohio State University Medical Center at 2:20 p.m. Wed. Aug. 17, 2011.

He was born Feb. 10, 1942 in Marion to the late Louis G. and Zella M. (Burress) Cochran. On Aug. 19, 1962 he married Patricia A. Young, she survives along with their children Steve Cochran, Forest, Julie (John) Foster, Marion and Jeff Cochran, Titusville, FL, 5 grandchildren Amanda (Stevie) Dexter, Erika, Scott, and Samantha Foster, Alexis Cochran, 3 great grandchildren, Damien, Alex & Avery Dexter and a sister June Saltzman, Marion.

He was the former owner/operator of Tri-County Lime Stone Quarry until 2001. Mr. Cochran was a part-time charter pilot & flight instructor for Baron Enterprises & Bluffton Flying Service, he drove truck for Tri State Expediting Service, and he was the owner Berm Master LLC.

Mr. Cochran was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was member of Eagles Lodge, Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge, all of Kenton and a member of Upper Sandusky Masonic Temple. He enjoyed golfing, gambling, and playing cards.
