Bill Dean Hall of Worland, Wy. passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at the age of 63.

Bill was a very private man even to those closest to him. But what little we do know is that he was born on April 16, 1948 to Fayne and Lela Hall in Trenton, Mo. He was welcomed home by two older siblings and grew up in northeastern Iowa.

Bill moved to Wyoming in the early 1960s. He worked at the Chief Service Center station and worked at Wyoming Sugar as a security guard from 1991 to May 2010 when he retired. During his years of service with Wyoming Sugar, he received numerous Excellence in Service Awards, Distinction Awards and Customer Service Awards and was a very dedicated employee.

He loved fishing, hunting, gardening and the weather. He could be found outside at certain times on most any given day, hot or cold, sun or snow. He had a green thumb and could take a barren brown chunk of land and turn it into a beautiful green garden.

Bill lived very simply and was a generous and giving person who cared very much for his neighbors and friends. He would do anything to help someone and never asked nor expected anything in return.

His mother passed away in 1960 and his father passed away in 1984.

Bill is survived by a host of friends and neighbors and by those of us who loved him dearly and whom he loved in return, including three brothers, Donald Hall of Mason City, Iowa, Clyde Hall of Belmond, Iowa and Joe Hall of Greeley, Colo.

Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interned next to his mother as per his wishes.
