Helen Marrello Caruso 91, of Pittsburg, Kansas, died at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2004, at the Sunset Manor Nursing Center in Frontenac, Kansas. She was born October 19, 1912, at Chicopee, Kansas to Miche and Annie (Serra) Marrello. She was a life long Southeast Kansas resident. Helen retired from working in 1993. She married Frank Caruso on November 24, 1929, in Capaldo, Kansas. He died in July, 1994. Survivors include one son, Bob Caruso of Pittsburg, Kansas, one daughter, Roma Busse of El Dorado, Kansas. She also was survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is my 3rd cousin on my Maternal Grandmother's side. She was my Grandma's 1st cousin.
