Josephine much better known as Joyce was my grandfather's second wife. They were married in 1947. They met in Michigan and eventually moved to California. Intially they lived in an apartment in Redondo Beach close to both of Oscar's 2 daughters in Redondo Beach and Gardena. They bought a home in Sun City, CA (I think the early 1960s) and both lived there for the rest of their lives. I remember her telling us that she once worked as a waitress and for the Sears & Roebuck Company. Joyce had a teacup collection, and she gave some of them to me back in the 1970s. When Oscar was in the last months of his life she gave us a box of photos that included photos of both of them and Oscar's family. That box also contained ancestor's of Oscar. I am so grateful she gave them to us.
