She was born in Evanston, Ill to Martin Molnar and Dorothea Hauf Molnar and married John B. Alexander in Fayetteville on Oct. 2, 1948.

Dawn had a variety of interests. She was a Welcome Wagon hostess in the early '60s. She was an accomplished florist who had a flower shop on Dickson Street during the mid-'60s and early '70s (Dawn's Flowers). She later collected and marketed Oriental antiques and collectibles (Dawn's Antiques).
She was 73 when she passed away at Northwest Medical Center of Washington County,Springdale, AR.
