"Ralph S. Ditzler, 54, Manheim RD 6, died early Sunday Morning at his home. He was the husband of Katherine Geib Ditzler.
Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late James U. and Emma Stehman Ditzler. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Manheim, Ammon A. Gibble Post 419, American Legion, the 35-year club of Raybestos Manhattan, Inc., and VFW Post 5956.
He was employed as a loom fixer at Raybestos Manhattan, Manheim, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War Two.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by the following children: Rosalie, wife of Roy Ault; Roberta, wife of Ernest Engle Jr., and James Ditzler, all of Manheim, Robert C. Ditzler, Glendale, Ariz., R. Ronald Ditzler, Bobby C. Ditzler, and Brian K. Ditzler, all at home.
Also surviing are; three step-children, Vickie, wife of Wayne Smith, Maytown; Donna, wife of Fred Howard, Columbia, and Michael Wright, Myerstown; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; twp sisters, Mable, wife of George Berkenbine, Bradenton, Fla., and Viola, wife of John Loerecher, Manheim, and two brothers, Stehman S. Ditzler, Miami, Fla., and James S. Ditzler, Manheim RD 2."
