WINCHESTER - Charles E. Woodward, 79, Winchester, was found dead at his home here Wednesday morning. He had an apparent heart attack.
He was born Aug. 19, 1893 at Potter and had lived in the Winchester area most of his life. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Mae Pemberton, Winchester; 2 sons, Ralph Woodward, Oskaloosa, and Charles Henry Woodward, Leavenworth; 3 brothers, Lance Woodward, Kansas City, Ambrose Woodward, McLouth, and Ollie Woodward, Holton and 3 grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at the Winchester Christian Church with burial in Winchester Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, is in charge of arrangements.
