Mary Virginia Miller Brewer of New Market, a native of Madison County, died Friday. She was 70. Mrs. Brewer was a member of Wears Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Worney G. Brewer. Survivors include one son, Larry Brewer of New Market; two daughters, Nancy Hillis of Elora, Tenn., and Judy Taylor of New Market; two brothers, James Lawson Miller of Brownsboro and Lemuel Winsett of New Market; three sisters, Louise Helton and Beatrice Helton, both of New Market, and Sadie Helton of Brownsboro; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Wears Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Roland Lee and the Rev. Jack Miller officiating. Her body will be at the church 30 minutes before the funeral.
