"Charles M. Wendt, 56, of 4136 Rosemont Ave., Montrose, died early yesterday from a heart attack. A detective with the Glendale Police Department, Mr. Wendt worked for the city of Glendale for 37 years, 26 of them with the police department. He leaves his widow, Ellen; two sons, David and Steven; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Wendt. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Kiefer & Eyerick Mortuary, Glendale."
