Funeral rites for Rev. Woodrow W. Page, 82, of Lucedale, were held Tuesday, January 16, at 2 p.m. at The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Rev. Page was pastor of The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ on Hwy. 198 East Lucedale for 29 years. He was secretary of the Foreign Missions of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ Organization. He pastored seven churches and built numerous churches and was a minister for 62 years. He secondary occupation was as a mason and carpenter. He died Sunday, January 14, 1996.

He is survived by his wife (now deceased, Christine Beech Page) and five children, (two now deceased, Ance Calvin Page and Sara Elois Page Finch); 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Services were conducted by Bro. Gerald Capps, Rev. Randall Buckley, and Tim Peace. Interment was in the Mt. Pisgah United Pentecostal Church Cemetery with George County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers included Marty Page, Jeffery Page, Timothy Peace, Doug Brown, Mike Alexander and Jerry Patrick.
