Mr. Armeniox was born in Norfolk and was retired from Virginia Power. He was a
member of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church and Chesapeake Athletic Club. He was
an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Alice M. Armeniox; four daughters, Michelle Plante,
Belynda Walker and Pamela Owens, all of Norfolk, and Theresa Kay Carter of
Toccoa, Ga.; a sister, Georgia Shoulars of Wilmington, N.C.; a brother, Gus
Armeniox of Greensboro, N.C.; three grandsons; and six granddaughters.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Spurgeon Memorial Baptist
Church by Dr. Paul C. Lawson. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family
will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
