Gladys Ledbetter Baynard, 57, of Hendersonville died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth House.
She was a native and lived most of her life in Henderson County. She was a daughter of the late Nathaniel Ledbetter and Ethel Cagle Ledbetter. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Arnold Ledbetter. She worked 20 years for Winn Dixie and attended Mountain View Baptist Church.
She is survived by a niece, Tammy Pryor and her husband, Keith, of Hendersonville; a nephew, Jeffrey Ledbetter and his wife, Christy, of Hendersonville; a great nephew, Tyler Pryor and two great nieces, Cameron Pryor and Emma Ledbetter.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Shepherd's Church Street Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Martin officiating, burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Thos. Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors.
