Darlene Loree With was born to Frank and Pearl Kechely With, one of four children. Darlene grew up in Chester, Thayer County,Nebraska and graduated from Chester High School in 1943. After graduation she moved to Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska where she became a secretary for Union Fire Insurance Company for many years and then finished her working career as a secretary at Alexander and Alexander Company where she retired. Darlene was a devoted Christian and was a member of First Christian Church for many years and then became a member of Crestwood Christian Church. Darlene never married and shared a house with her sister, Glenna for many years.
