Eldest son of David & Rachel Stumbaugh Freeze. From an excerpt of "Our Pioneer Heritage" Vol.10, Landmarks Saved By The Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Cemeteries: Ririe-The Bonneville County, Idaho, Daughters of Utah Pioneers have placed a marker in the Ririe Pioneer Cemetery honoring the dead buried there. Harvey Freeze, a Civil War Veteran who came to the area in 1866, donated the land in 1890. Five people are buried in the plot: Blanche Cameron, Hattie Cameron, Harvey and Mary Freeze and Peter Kelly, a well known trapper for whom Kelly Canyon is named.
