Dies At Home Near
New Bridgeville
New Bridgeville, Aug 1 - Mrs. Fannie Sprenkle Myers, wife of David Myers, died at 4 o'clock this afternoon at her home in Chanceford township, near here, following an illness of some length of a heart ailment. She was aged 83 years, seven months and eight days. Mrs. Myers had been in ill health for several years but had been confined to bed only a few days.
A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Sprenkle, of Chanceford township, Mrs. Myers was the last of her immediate family. She had spent most of all of her life as a resident of this section. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. David Snell, York; Mrs. Samuel Blouse, East Prospect; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the home with further services in Shenberger's chapel, near here. Rev. Clair C. Kreidler, pastor of the Craley Evangelical charge will officiate. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Funeral Director George W. Anstine, East Prospect, is in charge of arrangements."
