Mr. Maas died Feb. 19, 1995, at age 94.
He was born March 12, 1900 in Portland, where he attended school.
He was a wheat rancher in the Moro area in the 1920s and 1930s. He later logged in the Coast Range as a faller and high climber.
He also worked in construction for about 20 years and retired in 1973.
He was a member of the Mazamas and the First Congregational Church.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Geraldine, and a son, Theodore A., of Wilsonville"
