ALFORD - Mrs. Lucinda E., wife of J. R. Alford, died Friday night after a short illness. She was Mrs. Beidelman and formerly of Ohio, and married Mr. Alford about 11 years ago. One son, Jacob Beidelman, survives her. Deceased was a well educated woman and came to this State as a teacher. She was a member of the Methodist church for many years and was a sincere and humble christian. Her husband, whose second wife she was, is now past 83, and can not long survive her. Rev. W. M. Britt conducted short services at the grave in Buffalo Cemetery Sunday and then the remains were laid to rest in the presence of many friends.
