SERVICES TUESDAY FOR CHANCEY LEACH, 64. Chancey Leach passed away at his home early Monday morning following a long illness, which only for the last few days had confined him to his bed. An employee of the State Highway Maintenance Department for the past eleven years, he was on leave of absence at the time of his death. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 at Berg Funeral Home, Rev. A. R. Ellis officiated, assisted by Rev. L. G. Blood. Surviving besides the wife are three daughters, Mrs. Bertine Buckingham, Mrs. Irene Bentley and Mrs. Beatrice Hendrickson, all of Battle Creek; two sons, Ray of Kalkaska and Carl of Detroit; two brothers, Frank of Morley and Bert of Marion, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Dow of Toledo, Ohio, also 14 grandchildren.
