KENNEDY, Cole COLE CHRISTOPHER (TY) KENNEDY Cole Christopher (Ty) Kennedy, 51, of Roswell, died of cancer May 21, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. Ty was born in Hartford, CT on January 5, 1960 to loving parents Robert T. and Dorothy Callahan Kennedy, who predeceased him. He attended Christ the King School, St. Pius High School and graduated from Georgia Southern College. His determination in Scouts culminated in his achievement of the rank of Eagle Scout. Ty was passionate about his 30 years of service with Brooks Brothers and like his father, was a man of great sartorial splendor. He enjoyed the pleasures of the table, a well-tailored suit, a good laugh and many life-long friends. After the onset of his illness, Ty was able to fulfill two lifelong dreams-a trip to China where his parents had lived and a hilarity-filled adventure at the 2009 Monaco Grand Prix with his good friend, Mike Granfield. Ty fully participated in the sporting and scouting activities of his children and took great pride in witnessing their achievements. He also indulged in a lifelong passion for Italian sports cars and was privileged to enjoy with his family the many wonderful things that life on Daufuskie Island, SC provided. Ty is survived by his wife, Leslie Scott Kennedy and beloved children Lauren Elizabeth and Duncan Christopher, who attend Roswell High School. Also surviving are his brother Kipp, wife Kathy and their daughter Alex Rose of San Francisco, parents-in-law Randall and Carolyn Scott of Carnesville, Georgia, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Cindy and Alex Walker of Atlanta, Mark and Angie Scott and their children, Ellen and Thomas of Houston, TX.
