PUETZ JR., EDWARD CARL,Dec. 31, 2003; beloved husband of Olive Puetz (nee Smith); dear father of James (Linda) Puetz, Jeannette Puetz, Joanne (Gary) Anderson, Gerald 'Gary' (Natalia) Puetz and David Puetz; dear brother of Maura Myers, Karl Puetz, Evelyn Reid, Virgil 'Charlie' Puetz, Garnice LaZear, Ted Puetz and Kathleen Puetz (School Sister of Notre Dame); our dear grandfather of Justin, Allison, Donnell, Janell, Nikki and Laurell; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He was an American role model, as a child of the Depression era, a soldier of WWII, vet of Guam, Saipan and Tinian, first in the infantry and the Army Air Corps after it originated. He was employed at McDonnell-Douglass as a Jig Fixture/Tool and Die operator Local 837 for 43 years. He owned and operated a farm in Gray Summit, MO for 63 years. Throughout Alzheimers, he continued his zest for life and love in his heart for all he met.Funeral Tues., Jan. 6, 9 a.m. from JAY B. SMITH MAPLEWOOD Chapel, for 9:30 a.m. Mass at Immaculate Conception Church (Maplewood). Internment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Sun., 2-9 p.m. and all day Mon.
