Daniel Floyd Cunningham Sr., 59, of Kittanning, died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born Jan. 7, 1950, in Sharon, a son of the late Floyd "Pete" Cunningham and Genevie Marie (Lytle) Cunningham. Daniel was a truck driver and a devoted member of the Kittanning Eagles No. 896, where he was a trustee, and was also a member of the Kittanning Mens Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, loved riding his Harley and was an avid Steelers fan. He also enjoyed going to his daughter's camp, fishing and playing in pool league and dart league, where he was known as "Dead Eye Dan." Survivors include his wife, Patti Lynn Cunningham; children, Daniel F. (Desiree) Cunningham Jr., of Kittanning, Karen (Bill) Brumbaugh, of Kittanning, Bobbi Jo (Tim) Crytzer, of Kittanning, Matthew Cunningham, of Kittanning, and Aaron (Jen) Cunningham, of Kittanning; stepchildren, David J. Fox, of Dayton, and Trisha L. Fox, of Distant; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Bobbi (Monty) Zermane, of Manor Township; and nephew, Heath (Alisha) McElwain, of Rural Valley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Richard Louis Cunningham. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of memorial service at 1 p.m. in the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning, with the Rev. A. David Meneely, where the Kittanning Eagles will also conduct a service at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that everyone come and share a memory of Dan.
