Mr. Peterson was born in Madison and was married in 1907 to the former Mabel Luechens. He was a lifelong Madison resident and worked for 40 years as a bookbinder for the Democrat Printing Co.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ray O. Harb, Park Ridge, Ill; one grandchild; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Frautschi funeral home, 120 E. Wilson St.
