Harold W. Rheinfrank, 90 of Brazil died October 19, 2009 at the Exceptional Living Center. He had been a resident there since January.

He was born September 22, 1919 in Osgood, IN, the son of Carl Rheinfrank and Nellie Knapp Rheinfrank. He attended Holton High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. His work career included working for the Pennsylvania RR; Terre Haute Army Ordinance Depot; Arketex Plant #3 and last worked at Indiana State University in the maintenance department.

On October 4, 1952 he married Gladys Ferguson Rheinfrank and she preceded him in death. He was a member of the Eastside Christian Church.

Survivors include his step-daughter Janice Smith of Indianapolis; step-granddaughter, Jamie Shears; 2 great-granddaughters Alexandra Shears and Sydney Shears; special niece Marsha Roeschlein of Rising Sun, IN and her children, Mike Roeschlein and Ann Michelle Cochran; and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Albert and Ray Rheinfrank and two sisters Ruth and Mae; and his wife Gladys Rheinfrank.

Funeral Information
Services will be held Thursday at 7:00pm at French Funeral Home with Pastor George Hewitt officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7pm. Cremation will follow with burial of the ashes at a later date.
