Pass Christian, MS ~ Grace Collins, surrounded by family, went home with the Angels, Friday, February 24, 2012 after a long battle with A.L.S.

Grace was a Long Beach High School graduate, a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, St. Margaret's Daughters, and a resident of Pass Christian.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Santo and Mary Chiniche and her son, David Collins.

Grace is survived by Earl her husband, primary caretaker and Love of her Life for fifty-six years; daughter, Rhonda Thornton (Gerald); sons, Todd Collins and Paul Collins (Mary Ann); grandchildren, Hannah and Daylon; granddaughter, Alissa Lally (Jeremy); and great grandchild, Kain Lally; and her Chihuahua, Tiny.

Grace was a loving and devoted wife and mother. God truly blessed all of us with the best woman we could have ever dreamed of having in our lifetime. Anyone who knew Grace knew that she had four loved in her life: her family, her beloved pets, her beautiful flower garden, and shopping. She touched everyone's life that ever met her. She had a huge heart and was such a strong women throughout her illness. She will be remembered as one of the kindest, most loving person that we will ever know.

With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our love. We will miss her beyond belief but know she is at peace now.

The family would also like to give a special thanks to Leah and Delina of Odyessy Hospice.

Friends are invited to a visitation from ten o'clock in the morning until twelve noon, Monday, February 27, 2012 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.
